This wonderfully creative and inclusive programme aims to improve wellbeing among schoolchildren on the island and will provide a healthy outlet for our younger citizens to express emotion, reduce their stress levels and engage in relaxing activities, whilst also enjoying high quality teaching and equal access to resources.

The first project of the programme is the ‘The Map of Wonders’, where ‘The Story Beast’ will host seven films. Each episode will imaginatively bring to life a particular aspect of Jersey and using tales of local history and folklore the films will help the children to understand change and Jersey’s history. 

Promoting education and equal access to resources within the communities that we operate in is incredibly important to Saltgate, so we are pleased to be supporting such an innovative programme. The initiative is currently being rolled out across local primary schools and we look forward to hearing about the impact it makes.
