Saltgate donates computers to second Filipino school

We support initiatives that are close to our colleagues’ hearts.
Back in 2021, we helped our Luxembourg colleague June Galon use his Global Giving nomination to donate 40 of our old computers to Progreso Este Elementary School in the Philippines.
Described as a ‘significant milestone’ for his pupils by Reynante Lorenzo, the school’s principal, June was empowered to do the same again.
So once again, June reached out to another Filipino school interested in our donations, and arranged for another delivery of computers.
The second donation landed in the Philippines and in the hands of Mary Our Help Technical Institute for Women in early April.
The computers will enhance the students’ learning so they can reach their potential, leading to more opportunities in the future.
It’s a pleasure to work with June to support a cause he’s passionate about, and in turn strengthen our partnership with the Filipino community and support the education of young people.
