Setting young people up for the future

Last week we welcomed six A-Level students from Victoria College Jersey for a round of mock interviews.

Lead by People Partner Kevin Pinel, the interviews were for the school’s prefect roles.

They replicated the format and structure of real-life interviews, aiming to prepare the students so they’re ready to enter the professional world.

Interviews can be daunting to young people getting into the workforce, so we hope the students found the session helpful and calmed any nerves they may have.

We’ve partnered with Victoria College to lead the mock interview initiative for a few years now.

It’s part of our commitment to support the development of young people in our jurisdictions, enabling them to thrive from the second they leave school.
