Saltgate team head to Mallorca for latest PATRIZIA Foundation challenge

This weekend, four members of Saltgate’s senior team will be heading over to sunny Mallorca for the PATRIZIA Foundation’s La Isla Challenge.

CEO Simon Riley, CPO Ali French, and Directors Adrian Moll and Johanna Karhukorpi will join fellow sponsors and PATRIZIA colleagues in tackling the ‘La Isla Bonita’ landscape.

The challenge aims to raise €130,000 to improve facilities at the PATRIZIA School Sondoveni in Peru, which was established in 2014 by the Foundation and its partners.

The village of Sondoveni is in a remote part of the Peruvian rainforest, meaning many children in the surrounding areas rarely go to school, if at all.

The PATRIZIA School Sondoveni makes education a reality for these children, who may not have access otherwise.

As a Sponsor Circle member, our priorities and passions align with the Foundation.

Their projects are empowering young people and closing the education inequality gap so every child can create a bright future, no matter their background.

The La Isla Challenge is the latest in a string of PATRIZIA Foundation initiatives our team have got involved with.

Maricris Dela Cruz from our Luxembourg team headed up the Alps for the Bavarian Peaks Challenge this time last year to raise funds for the PATRIZIA Primary School Songea in Tanzania.

And this will be CEO Simon Riley’s second hike with the Foundation after he completed the Lake District Challenge back in 2021 to raise money for the PATRIZIA School in Buyamba, Uganda.
