Last month our Chief Innovation Officer Nadja Borges took to the German Alps with the PATRIZIA Foundation.

Representing Saltgate, Nadja joined the rest of the Foundation’s Sponsor Circle members. The 15-kilometre hike was an opportunity for them to meet, mingle, and discuss their social and ESG priorities.

The Foundation also presented their current and upcoming projects around the world, all aiming to build better futures for children around the world.

They hiked up and down the hills for the length of a working day – 9am to 5pm, or a school day for Melina, Nadja’s eight-year-old daughter who also got her walking boots on.

Melina put it best, saying the hike was ‘from kids, for kids’.

At the end of last year, Saltgate Luxembourg colleague Maricris Dela Cruz joined the Foundation on their trek through the icy foothills of the Alps, all to raise money for the PATRIZIA Primary School Songea in Tanzania.

We’re looking forward to teaming up with the Foundation once again to raise funds for another one of their life-changing projects.
