This festive season, Saltgate is proud to continue a tradition that lies at the heart of our culture, supporting charities that make a real and lasting difference to vulnerable people in the communities where we live and work.
Our Festive Giving campaign brings together colleagues across Jersey, London, and Luxembourg to champion three exceptional charities whose work offers hope, dignity, and practical support to people facing significant hardship: The Shelter Trust, Spires, and Serve the City.
Supporting The Shelter Trust
In Jersey, we are supporting The Shelter Trust, the island’s leading charity for people experiencing homelessness. Every night, the Trust provides safe accommodation, meals, and essential support to more than 125 people, helping them rebuild their lives and move towards long‑term stability.
The festive season can be especially challenging for those without a safe place to call home. By contributing to The Shelter Trust’s vital services, we’re helping provide not just shelter, but also hope, dignity, and a foundation for brighter futures.
Supporting Spires
Our London office continues its six‑year partnership with Spires, a charity dedicated to supporting people who are experiencing homelessness or vulnerably housed. Through its day centre and outreach services, Spires offers a warm, safe space and delivers life‑changing support, helping people build confidence, resilience, and independence.
Spires is often one of the first organisations to respond to people in urgent need, and its impact stories show how meaningful the path to stability can be when compassion meets practical support.
Supporting Serve the City
In Luxembourg, we are once again proud to support Serve the City, a charity that brings together volunteers and people experiencing hardship to build connections rooted in kindness and dignity.
Through a wide range of initiatives, Serve the City supports people living on the streets and those navigating difficult social circumstances, especially during the coldest months of the year.
This marks our third year partnering with the organisation, helping them spread warmth and joy through festive activities held in local shelters.
A Shared Purpose Across All Jurisdictions
Our Festive Giving campaign reflects Saltgate’s longstanding commitment to supporting grassroots, community‑focused charities. By choosing organisations that work directly with vulnerable people, we ensure that our contributions go where they are needed most and where they can have the most immediate impact.
