DIFERA-accredited

Equal treatment no matter someone’s race, gender, or identity is a non-negotiable at our organisation. It’s why we’re proud to be DIFERA-accredited. We partnered with equality charity Liberate to achieve this, certifying us as an organisation that prioritises Diversity, Inclusion, Fairness, Equality, Respect and Acceptance.

To start our DIFERA journey, Liberate hosted an audit to understand the diversity of our workforce, and how people feel about diversity and inclusion matters. We then selected trained up our Diversity Champions, who will work with our Inclusion network to drive our diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy. The range of nationalities, races, backgrounds, and identities among our team makes us stronger. We embrace the richness diversity brings our organisation.

With this accreditation, we’re excited to work with Liberate and our champions in being the positive change we want to see.

Championing diversity

Our Inclusion Network is a group of colleagues who are passionate about positive development both at Saltgate and in wider society. They lead on company-wide diversity initiatives, execute the diversity strategy, and empower the organisation to be active forces for change

Pride, Black History Month, International Women’s Day, and religious holidays are just a few initiatives the Inclusion Network is responsible for. They provide a space and platform where colleagues can engage with diversity matters, learn more and educate themselves, as well as share their thoughts and experiences.

Partnered with our DIFERA Diversity Champions, the Inclusion Network is the voice of our population and help drive our commitment to being an inclusive business based on our people’s needs.
