Simon Riley

Simon is Chief Executive Officer based in Jersey. Having joined Saltgate at its inception in 2007, he has played an integral part in growing and shaping the Saltgate business into what it is today. Simon has over 20 years’ experience in the alternative asset fund industry, specialising in working with clients to service a wide variety of investment structures in Jersey, Luxembourg, and the UK across our core asset classes of real estate, debt, and private equity. Simon is a Chartered Accountant, having worked at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte.

Chief Corporate Officer

Hannah Culshaw

Hannah is Chief Corporate Officer and Head of Luxembourg. She has over 15 years’ administration and transactional experience including sitting on the boards of a number of high-profile fund manager and corporate holding entities. She has a specialist focus on corporate governance, risk and compliance. Prior to joining Saltgate in 2007, Hannah spent three years with a leading administration firm providing services to a variety of alternative asset funds. Hannah is a Chartered Governance Professional and a graduate of the University of Nottingham.

Chief People Officer

Ali French

Ali is the Chief People Officer and focuses on driving Saltgate’s people strategy. She develops our talent so we can give our clients a best-in-class service, and oversees recruitment, diversity, culture and communications. She started her career in investment banking, spending 11 years at Goldman Sachs. She then joined the US hedge fund Citadel as a senior talent strategist. Before joining Saltgate in January 2021, Ali ran her own talent strategy consultancy.

Managing Director

John Cosnett

Based in Jersey, John is responsible for the service delivery and client relationship management for our Private Equity clients. He joined Saltgate during its founding year in 2007. Prior to this, John led a team of administrators at a leading third-party fund administrator specialising in alternative asset funds – including some of Europe’s largest funds at the time. John previously worked in Equity Capital Markets at Paribas and Goldman Sachs in London. He has over 20 years’ experience of the finance industry, and holds a BComm degree from University of Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

Adrian Moll

Adrian oversees the service delivery and client relationship management for a significant and growing portfolio of real estate clients based in Jersey. Adrian has over 20 years’ experience of client servicing and significant involvement with institutional clients on the administration of real estate investment structures. Adrian is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified with Arthur Andersen.

Lizette Morales

Lizette is responsible for the management and oversight of Saltgate’s client teams in Jersey. She leads various teams, with a focus on upholding and building on our reputation of delivering seamless, high quality service. Lizette joined the team in 2013 and previous sat as Head of Jersey Client Services. She has over 12 years’ experience of private equity and real estate financial reporting in IFRS, US, GAAP and various local GAAP. Lizette qualified as a Certified Public accountant in 2003 with KPMG.

Julian Withrington

Julian is manages and oversees Saltgate’s service delivery in London. He has a strong focus on client service excellence and utilising technology to mitigate business risk and improve processes. An FCA qualified accountant with over 20 years of experience in the private equity and real estate fund administration industry, Julian has considerable experience of leading teams and managing clients in both the onshore and offshore private equity and real estate fund spaces.

Johanna Karhukorpi

Johanna joined Saltgate in 2018 and is now a Client Director. She qualified as Chartered Secretary in 2011 and holds M.Sc. in international business from Turku School of Economics and Business Administration, Finland. Johanna also holds a Masters’ Degree in English, French and Political Science, and a subsequent post-graduate degree of Licentiate in Philosophy in English from University of Turku, Finland.

Johanna has over 16 years’ experience of various fund structures, including Private Equity, Venture Capital, Fund of Funds, Real Estate Funds, and Corporate Holding Structures. She currently acts a director of several private equity and real estate fund structures.

Rob Boylan

Rob is a Client Director based in Jersey, specialising in Private Equity and Debt funds. He has over 13 years of experience in the offshore finance industry, and eight years’ experience of alternative asset fund structures focusing on debt, private equity and commodities. Prior to joining Saltgate in 2018, Rob led the Financial Reporting and Risk function of a Jersey-based alternative investment fund promoter. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte in 2009 and graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2006 with a Master’s degree in Natural Sciences.

Peaches Nulud

Peaches is Director, Jersey Client Services and oversees our teams’ service delivery, ensuring it’s of the highest quality. She joined Saltgate in 2014 , assuming the the role of Head of Fund Accounting before becoming Director. Peaches has over 17 years of experience in private equity, debt, and property funds. She is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy.

Ajay Golam

Ajay, based in our London office, joined Saltgate in May 2016. As Director, he oversees the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of the accounting services provided to our clients. Ajay has over ten years of fund accounting, administration (including company secretary) experience of various UK and Global offshore alternative asset investment and associated structures in the UK, Guernsey and Mauritius. Ajay also has over 12 years of experience in general accounting in sectors such as Banking, Engineering, Gambling, Fintech and Telecommunication. He is an FCCA qualified accountant.

Jean-François Flamant

Jean-François heads up our Depositary function and is based in Luxembourg. Joining Saltgate in 2021, Jean-François has over 20 years’ experience in the Luxembourg fund industry. He’s worked with several well-known financial institutions and Specialized Luxembourg PSF.

Jean-François has a degree in International Business and Marketing.

Marion Broch

Based in Luxembourg, Marion joined the Saltgate team in February 2024. She is responsible for day-to-day operations and strategy implementation to ensure our reputation for exceptional client service is upheld. Marion has oversight of Registrar and Transfer Agency, Domiciliation & Corporate Services, Investor Communication, Accounting, and Regulatory Reporting for corporate and fund clients. She is Director on a number of mandates. Marion holds a Master’s in Science Management, specialising in Accounting-Finance and Audit-Control from IESEG School of Management. Marion has 15 years of experience in Asset Management in Luxembourg, five years of experience in the Big Four as an Investment Fund auditor, and 10 years of experience at a large US Asset Manager as Head of Governance and Conducting Officer.

Antonio Pimentel

Antonio joined Saltgate in 2024 and leads Jersey’s CDD function. As a Director, he and his team ensure Saltgate works to the highest ethical standards as a trusted partner to our clients. Antonio brings 12 years’ of experience to his role specialising in AML, KYC and Regulatory. His strong technical skills and experience grew from working across Banking, Fund, Trust and Depositary Services throughout his career. Antonio has a degree in Economics from the University of Lisbon and a diploma in Anti-Money Laundering from ICA.

Compliance Director

Jean-Philippe Vuillemin

Based in Jersey, Jean-Philippe leads Saltgate’s Compliance function and has over 17 years of experience in the offshore financial services industry. Prior to joining Saltgate in 2019, Jean-Philippe held day-to-day responsibility for the compliance activities of the Fund Clients at an international fund and corporate service provider, including holding the positions of Compliance Officer, Money Laundering Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer on regulated client entities.  Jean-Philippe has also held a principal person roles and served on the board of a number of Funds and Managed Entities for a US-based international financial services provider.  Jean-Philippe holds two French LL.M. in Law, the International Diploma in Financial Crime Prevention from the International Compliance Association and is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

Michala Wright

Michala is oversees and drives the People function and proposition at Saltgate. Based in Jersey, she uses her expertise to deliver solutions that support the people strategy across our jurisdictions, as well as leading on HR digitalisation. Before joining Saltgate in 2020, Michala worked internationally, locally, and as part of the Big Four as HR Manager. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Jamie Hawksworth

Jamie joined the team in 2014 and is based in Saltgate’s Jersey office. In his role as Head of Finance, Director, he oversees and drives the internal finance function, specialising in financial management and planning. Jamie’s expertise lies in optimising financial performance through digital transformation and cost control, upholding Saltgate’s commitment to innovation. He has 14 years of experience in the financial services industry, including banking, real estate, and commerce. Jamie is a Chartered Accountant and holds Bachelor and Master’s degrees in History from the University of Sussex.

Jonathon Woolf

Jonathon joined Saltgate in 2016 and is based in Jersey as Head of Innovation, Director. He uses his expertise to develop and implement best in class technology to deliver exceptional, seamless service to our clients, working with systems such as Investran and Yardi. Jonathon previously sat as Head of Client Systems, and before moving into Saltgate’s IT function, he led client service teams. He graduated from the University of East London with a BA (Honours) Degree in Accounting and Finance, and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He has over 25 years of experience in the finance industry, and has worked across audit, accounting, and administration.

Youssef Lqoule

Youssef joined Saltgate in 2013, and leads a team of corporate administrators servicing Debt structures and pan-European real estate structures based in Luxembourg, as well as Private Equity. He has an in-depth knowledge of Luxembourg regulatory requirements and holds a number of board positions on both Fund, Holding, and SPV structures. Youssef has a DEUG Economics degree from the University Mohamed V Rabat, a degree in management, and studied corporate law in Luxembourg.
