Looking after our beaches

A big thank you to all our Jersey colleagues who got together to help clean up our beaches on the weekend.

They headed down to St Aubin’s Bay, litter pickers at the ready, and got to work clearing the beach of rubbish.

We partnered with Littlefeet Environmental to organise the beach clean. They encourage islanders to take small steps towards building a more sustainable future by thinking globally and acting locally.

Their commitment to protecting our local and the wider environment aligns with Saltgate’s green values.

Jersey’s beaches are a huge part of the island’s identity – we have a duty to protect them, not only through initiatives such as beach cleans, but by making sure we don’t pollute or litter our beaches in the first place.
