A Black History Month discussion with June Sarpong OBE
18 October 2021
As part of our Black History Month campaign, we’re delighted to be hosting a virtual talk tomorrow with guest speaker June Sarpong OBE for our colleagues and clients.
June is a TV presenter, diversity expert and award-winning author.
She’s the BBC's first-ever Director of Creative Diversity and one of the most recognisable faces on British television.
She recently launched a publishing platform, The HQ Creative Inclusion Lab, to give a voice to people from underrepresented communities – particularly people with a disability, and those from underrepresented ethnic and working-class backgrounds.
As a business, diversity and inclusion is a priority. We shape our business practices based on listening to the needs of our people. We are always working to educate ourselves, refine our view, and support important causes and initiatives.
We believe it’s important to engage with and hear from influential black figures during times like Black History Month, so we’re looking forward to hearing from June and learning more about her experiences.
