Global Giving: our commitment to our communities

We set up the Global Giving programme so our people can make a real difference in their communities. It allows colleagues to donate to causes that are close to their hearts or to charities that need support the most.

The programme’s flexibility means colleagues have found innovative and collaborative ways to support worthy causes.

Earlier this year, John Fernandes, Technical Security and Infrastructure Manager in our Jersey office, celebrated his 10 year work anniversary with Saltgate. To celebrate the special occasion John decided to go for the big chop and donate 7in of his hair to Little Princess Trust.

Sharing his inspiring goal and achievement, John then inspired his colleagues to use their nomination to fund the project too, raising £11,135 through Saltgate’s Global Giving scheme.

We were incredibly proud to see our team come together and use their Global Giving nominations to make a difference.
