Donations that make a difference

Earlier this year we sent off a second batch of computer donations to the Philippines.

With lots of exciting technological updates happening at Saltgate over the last few years, we were left with lots of older, but perfectly good PCs.

We’re committed to environmentally friendly choices, promoting education, supporting causes that are important to our team. So back in 2021 – when our partnership with the Philippines began – we were delighted to make an idea from Luxembourg colleague Rogelio Galon to donate our old PCs to local Filipino schools, happen.

Progreso Este Elementary School were the first school we partnered with, and now this second batch of donations means Concord Technical Institute and Mary our Help Technical Institute for Women have also felt the benefits of updated technology to support their learning.

June took a trip back home to the Philippines recently and headed over to both schools to meet the staff and see their brand-new IT set ups.

Huge thank you to June for all his effort in making this wonderful partnership with Filipino schools possible, and helping Saltgate make a difference far and wide.
